What is an e-ticket ?
An e-ticket is an electronic ticket. It contains all the information shown on a paper ticket, but is stored as an electronic record in the airline's computer system. When the e-ticket has been issued, the passenger simply needs to print out their receipt / itinerary showing the booking reference number of the e-ticket number. At the departure airport the passenger goes straight to the airline check-in desk. The main benefits to the passenger are that the e-tickets cannot be lost; there is no need to queue for tickets at the airport, and itinerary changes (where permitted by the airline) can be handled more easily.
How are these fares/tickets different than buying a ticket from the airline directly or from a website ?
These tickets are in most cases very similar to the tickets that you buy directly from the airlines. You can request special meals, get advanced seat assignments and almost always accrue frequent flyer mileage. But booking with us will give you more privileges which other websites don’t, for an instance:

Do I get discount for group bookings ?
In the first instance email your requirements at email@example.com or call us on 02079936219. We will try to find suitable flights, and can then contact the airline or tour operator to confirm the availability and price. Please note that with scheduled flights, we advise against making several small bookings for groups of 10 persons.
Will I be acknowledged when my booking is confirmed ?
If you have booked a scheduled flight, you will receive an email acknowledgment from us shortly afterwards that we have received the booking. When the booking reaches our ticketing staff, the card details are checked and payment taken. When your tickets have been issued, you receive a further email showing your ticket numbers.
What if I want to return to a different airport ?
Returning back to other airport (not from where you departed) is called an open Jaw situation. We can offer or arrange an Open Jaw flight if available after confirming from the airline authorities.
How can I make my payments ?
We accept Visa Debit & Credit, Solo, Switch, Delta, American Express and Maestro Cards over the phone. Please note we require fourteen working days for cheques clearance before tickets can be issued. Should insufficient time be available to allow this we can arrange special clearance with our bank at an additional cost of 25. We are unable to accept foreign currency cheques at the moment.
If Payment is done by credit card , then Payee will be required to send us Scanned Copies/Clear photo copy of Front & back side of the card used for making the booking, along with the written authorization to charge the card. These measure are strictly followed to protect credit card holder. This step also ensures that Payee is the original card holder.
What about my personal information safety ?
All the information you provide to us will only be used for the booking purpose only and will not be disclosed to any person or company. Moreover all the transactions over the phone are secure and confidential. We are fully Bonded agents.
Will there be an extra charge for paying by credit card ?
We are pleased to accept Master and Visa credit cards. On flight bookings there is a 3% fee for credit card payments.
How can I cancel a booking and request a refund ?
Yes, You can cancel a booking but for that purpose you have to pay a cancellation fee. For booking cancellations and refund details please consult our Booking Agents.
Can I change my first name on the ticket ?
If you wish to make a name change, please Contact on 0207 993 6219 and we will try to help you out.
Can I change my travel dates ?
Please consult our Travel consultants. If your ticket does permit changes, the airline sometimes charge an amendment fee. In addition, we may normally make a service charge to revalidate or reissue your ticket.
Can I pay for a flight for someone else, even if I'm not traveling ?
You can book with flightsmaster.co.uk on behalf of a friend, relative, employee, etc. Please note that we will require the name of the cardholder (as it appears on the card) and correct billing address to which card statements are sent. We do need latest Statement and scanned copy of the both sides of debit or Credit Card being used for payment of flights. If this information is not provided it could delay the issue of your tickets. flightsmaster.co.uk take cardholder security very seriously and we reserve the right to reject any booking if we are not satisfied that the cardholder has given permission for the transaction. Moreover we also need payee’s authorization with his/her original signatures to be sent by fax or his/her e-mail.
When do I have to check-in for a flight ?
All airport counters close 1 hour before departure. First and Executive class passengers can check in up to 2 hours prior departure, Economy class can check in up to 3 hours prior and domestic passengers can check in up to 2 hours prior departure.
Do I need to reconfirm my ticket ?
Reconfirmation is no longer required European flights. However for non-European Carriers Reconfirmation 48 Hours prior departure is mandatory. Reconfirmation can be done by calling us if Departing from UK, however if arriving back to UK then Passenger need to contact relevant Airline/s in that country.
What should I do if I lose my ticket ?
Since All airlines in UK are Issuing 100% E-Tickets, so even If u have lost your E-tickets, there is no harm at all, Please contact us to request e-ticket once again sent to you on your e-mail or Postal address.
Am I allowed to book/purchase a ticket before acquiring a visa ?
Yes, you can. But it is recommended that you purchase your ticket after acquiring a visa, to avoid cancellation/refund in case the visa is denied/ delayed for some reason.
How do I apply for a ticket refund ?
You can submit an e-ticket for refund, which is either partially or fully utilized, depending on the fare rules, with in 6 Months after expiry of the validity of the ticket. If the payment has been done in cash, a cheque with the refund amount is sent to the address as specified by the passenger. If the payment has been made by credit card, then the amount is credited back to the passengers credit card account.
How long can I expect to wait for my refund to be processed ?
In normal circumstances a refund is processed almost immediately. Airlines respond with the refund amount in approximately 6 Weeks time. However, in case of a credit card bank transfer, it takes a minimum of twenty days after the refund has been receieved & transferred.
Can I make a booking first and purchase the ticket later ?
Yes, you may. You will be given a time limit by when you have to pay for your ticket or else the booking will be cancelled automatically. However, this facility is not available for tickets purchased online.
If I need a wheelchair, what should I do? Is there a charge ?
If a wheelchair is needed, the request should be placed with us at the time of reservation, ticketing or reconfirmation of the booking. No charge will be applied to old and infirm passengers and passengers with a medical condition for which a medical certificate has to be produced.
Can a wheelchair be made available to me all the way to the aircraft ?
Yes. However, business class passengers should note that if traveling by the B747/COMBI/744 aircraft types, ascending/descending steps will be necessary. Hence, before making your reservation please check the type of aircraft with our reservations centre. You should be able to ascend/descend the steps and walk to/from your seat.
Can I carry my own electrically operated wheelchair with me on board the aircraft ?
Yes. However, a medical certificate stating the need to carry and operate your own wheelchair has to be produced.
From what age can an infant travel ?
After 7 days of birth with an adult.
What if my infant becomes a child by the time I undertake my return journey ?
If your infant crosses the age of 2, on or before your departure from the turnaround point, you will have to book a seat for your child and pay the additional applicable fare from infant to child.
If I wish to request a special meal, what should I do ?
Special meals can be requested for at the time of reservation, ticketing or reconfirmation of the booking. The request can be placed with our reservations center or directly through the Airline.
If I require a bassinet on board, what should I do ?
Bassinet for infant passengers can be requested for at the time of reservation, ticketing or reconfirmation of the booking. The request can be placed with the Airline & can only be accommodated upon confirmation/availability of service.
Till what stage can a pregnant woman travel without an escort ?
Expectant mothers between 32 to 36 weeks of pregnancy are not required to have an escort by a physician if the attending physician certifies fitness for air travel.
If I am over-sized and require an additional seat, what are the formalities ?
A request for an additional seat will have to be done at the time of reservation wherein the necessary remarks will be made in your reservation. You will be issued only one ticket with payment for the two seats shown accordingly.
